Producer
I, Winston Ruddle, am proud to present Circus Mama Africa.

It has become my life’s goal to debunk the myth that exists in Africa, that

an artist is unable to make a good living - let alone a lucrative career –

from his or her art alone. I strongly believe, that as Africans, if our

talents are groomed and embraced by our own governments and

politicians, there is actually no telling, how far we can go in terms

of creative growth. With this in mind, I have made it my passion

to make manifest concrete performance environments, that

showcase the fully developed skills of the world’s finest

African circus artists, while simultaneously providing

them with economic and artistic success, that is truly

possible, when one is doing, what they love to do

the most. As a former acrobat, I have performed in

numerous countries around the world, and now I believe

that it is my turn to help pave the way for up-and-coming.

African circus artists are on the road to success. On top of founding,

producing, and directing the Hakuna Matata Acrobatics School (Dar Es Salaam),

and the Circus Mother Africa, I have worked alongside Mathias Hoffman (director of the hit show ‘Africa
Africa’), providing 19 acts for his two European touring productions, and personally training and
choreographing five acts for those shows. But it is now time to take things to the next level; I am ready
to fulfill my life-long dream of being the first African man to open a circus in Africa. The successful
tours of the Mother Africa Circus over the past two years have certainly proven to the public, that the time
is ripe for african circus in Europe - and I believe that, given that, it is now an even riper time for African
circus in Africa itself.
Circus Mama Africa is a source of education. an exercise
of pride. When we see African people performing feats of

wonder amazement, suddenly we realize that anything is
possible for us. We are elevated to new heights. We are
no longer satisfied with our current circumstances. We want
to be better than we are. Circus Mama Africa is a coming
of age. Children should feel like Little Kings and Queens
because they are! We will touch and transform and motivate
many children to find the best within them, the talent and
pride within them, to be the best they can be.
Circus Mama Africa is a time to dream. The reality of life
sometimes robs our children and our parents of their dreams.
Often we are too busy to dream. To look beyond our current
problems. To see a better tomorrow, to see a better life and
a better future. For two hours thirty minutes, this is
your chance to dream.
